There’s no guarantee things will work if you’re not. Make sure you’re always using the latest version of MCCC and most up to date Sims 4. The second is MCWhoohoo and affects the pregnancy and relationships of your played sims. The first is the majority of the modules zipped together. Scroll down the page to the “Download here” section. Download at MC Command Center Deaderpool’s site. (I only have PC instructions here as I don’t own a mac anymore.) 1. It’s fairly easy to set up – but there are some steps involved. If you are more interested in how MC settings work, I’ve posted mine here. You can have just run in the background, quietly updating your unplayed families or have it be an active participant. MC Command Center is a wonderful mod that adds story progression, disables culling, and basically allows you to tweak various settings of the game. We really only need the ONE (newest) file, when you come to visit us.These instructions are accurate as of May 24, 2021. Any with numbers can be deleted, they won’t tell us what’s going on NOW in your game. The ones with no numbers added are fresh.
One more thing, if you see any “last” file with numbers added to the name, those are old. Other than “you need to sort through your mods and cc,” which is detailed in this post. (By the way, drag and drop is Very Handy on Discord!!) The other 2 types, we can only tell you what I’ve already said here. Of the 3, the best one to show us on Discord is the lastException. lastUIException: usually user-interface mods needing updated (weerbesu at MTS, for example).lastException: any mod, cc or EA (game code) error not caught by the other file types.lastCrash: usually from old or broken custom content.
Their names all begin with “last” and they are all text files. Some extra information on error messages: In your /Sims 4 folder, you may see 3 different types of error files. It should be shown as a Text Document in your /Sims 4 folder. That’s the file (highlighted in blue) to bring us, if you come to Deaderpool’s Discord for help. The next picture shows you where to look on your (Windows) computer for the lastException file. In the Troubleshooting documentation in the MCCC website help menu, there is a suggestion on how to track-down bad or out of date custom content.
It will continue to happen until the mods or cc are removed or updated. This error almost always happens as a result of bad or out-of-date mods or CC, but sometimes it can be an EA script error as well. A script error has been logged to the LastException.txt file located in the Sims 4 folder.
